Before I met Tim, my mom and I were the original cooking duo in the family. Since I’ve been able to stand I’ve helped her cook, bake, decorate, run around frantically and clean up. I hope there will never be a time we’re not cooking for a big family shin-dig together.
My mom and I might have had way to much fun making these for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. I think it took us a little longer than it normally should, but it’s hard to work fast when you’re in fits of laughter and have tears streaming down your face!
For the recipe, check out our previous post: Funfetti Cake Pops
Decorating is the best part of these pops. And with such an incredibly easy dessert to make, it’s worth it to spend a little extra time creating fun, different designs. Even the ugly ones look pretty!
*Advice for rolling cake balls: Roll in assembly line form. One person scoops, the other rolls. Once the scooper is done, they help roll. It seriously cuts the time in half!
**We tried chocolate devil’s food cake with chocolate icing this time, too! And (of course) they are my new favorite flavor! Enjoy!
